Affected by cold air and strong winds, from the daytime on the 16th to the 18th, there were sand or floating dust in parts of central and western Inner Mongolia, central and western Gansu, and eastern Qinghai, and there were local sandstorms. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue sand and dust weather forecasts at 06:00 on January 16.

From 08:00 yesterday to 06:00 today, light to moderate snow or sleet occurred in central and southern Jiangsu, Anhui, Shanghai, central and northern Zhejiang, central and northern Jiangxi, eastern and southwestern Hubei, Hunan, Chongqing, northeastern Sichuan, and northern Guizhou Snow, precipitation in western and northeastern Jiangxi, central Chongqing, and northeastern Sichuan has 5-14 millimeters of precipitation; freezing rain has occurred in Tongren, Bijie, Guizhou, and Chenzhou, Hunan.

Affected by the cold wave, at 05:00 today compared with 05:00 yesterday, the temperature in central and southern China, Fujian, and eastern Yunnan dropped by 6-10°C, and the south-west of Guangdong dropped by 12-14°C; gusts of magnitude 6-8 appeared in the eastern and southern coastal areas .

In the next three days, there will be little precipitation in most parts of the country and the weather will be fine. From the 19th to the 20th, there will be a gust of cold air affecting northern China, and North China, Northeast China, Huanghuai and other places will experience a 4-8°C drop in temperature. There was light snow and local moderate snow in parts of eastern Inner Mongolia and southern Northeast China.

From the 22nd to the 24th, there was another cold air affecting the central and eastern regions of my country. Most areas dropped by 4-8°C, and the eastern part of Inner Mongolia and the central and southern parts of Northeast China dropped by 10-14°C locally.

Among them, parts of eastern Tibet have heavy snow . There was light rain in parts of southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian, northeastern Hainan Island, and northern Taiwan Island. There are 6-7 winds in parts of southern Qinghai, Hexi, Gansu and other places (see Figure 1).
